Swirly segregation of Mo was introduced in Ti-12 mass% Mo alloy through hot caliber rolling. After isothermal aging of the alloys, omega phase precipitated heterogeneously in beta matrix due to the segregation of Mo. The effects of swirly segregation and isothermal aging condition on room temperature tensile properties of Ti-12Mo alloy were investigated. Tensile strength was slightly affected by the swirly segregation. However, total elongation was extremely improved from 4 similar to 11 % to 19 similar to 23 % in the samples with tensile strength of between 1000 and 1100 MPa. In addition, the samples with the swirly segregation showed larger reduction in area under all aging conditions.
