In this paper, an electrochemical nonenzymatic sensor using three dimensional Fe3O4 accumulated sphere-like nanocomposites as the carriers was designed. The decorated materials with homogeneous stacked sphere-like morphologies were synthesized through a facile one-step solvothermal reaction by selecting Fe(CO)(5) as the iron sources and absolute ethanol as the solvent. We used cyclic voltammetric (CVs) and current-time (I-t) curves to detect the current response towards H2O2. Achieved consequences demonstrated that the as-prepared nonenzymatic H2O2 sensor revealed the low detection potential (-0.1 V) as well as high sensitivity (205 mu A mM(-1) cm(-2)), wide linear range (5.0 mu M-4.995 mM) and low detection limit (2 mu M, S/N = 3). In addition, the novel nonenzymatic sensor was successfully applied to the detection of H2O2 in pasteurized milk samples.
