Evaluation on Urban Low-carbon Economy Development of Cities

Adopting the PCA and AHP methods, this paper builds up the low-carbon economic development evaluation system on four aspects: resource endowments, level of technology, consumption patterns and stages of development, to evaluate the low-carbon economy on subsystem and comprehensive development prospect. Taking Nanchang city for example, the research conclusion shows that the low-carbon economy of Nanchang enjoys a good momentum of development rising, which conforms to the reality and turns out to be practical. In this context, we propose feasibility countermeasures and suggestions for the development of Nanchang's low-carbon economy at the end of this paper.
