The Visible Broadband Imager (VBI) is one of several first-light instruments of the Daniel K. Inouye Solar Telescope (DKIST, formerly known as the Advanced Technology Solar Telescope (ATST)). Operating at discrete wavelengths within a range of 390-860 nm, the VBI will be capable of sampling the solar atmosphere in several layers at the diffraction limit of DKIST's 4 meter aperture. The layers are selected by the peak wavelength and bandpass width of its interference filters that have to be manufactured to very tight specifications. We present the results of testing performed at the National Solar Observatory's Dunn Solar Telescope (DST) to con firm that the requirements were met by the vendor.
