Direct synthesis of alpha-aminophosphonates from biomass resources catalyzed by HReO4

This work describes the one-pot conversion of xylose and xylan into a large variety of -aminophosphonates with moderate to good overall yields and good chemoselectivity catalyzed by HReO4.
