In this study, the effects of different amount of dosages (250, 300, 350 and 400) on the electrical cure of hardening (setting) concrete have been investigated. In experiments, 10 cm x 10 cm x 35 cm moulds have been used. Different combinations of stress intensity (0 V, 40 V, 60 V, 80 V and 100 V) have been used on mixtures for 24 h by AC power-supply. The measurements have been done at room temperature. Electrical cure and hydration time of the specimens with electric current application have been investigated. Through the application of 100 V stress intensity to the 250, 300, 350 and 400 dosage concretes, their final setting time are shortened 510, 380, 410 and 500 min, respectively when they are compared to the same dosage reference concretes. Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) views have been investigated from 300 dosage concretes and It is determined that hydration reactions accelerate as stress intensity increases (from 0 V to 100 V). It has been concluded that hydration time can be shortened both as a result of applying electrical current to concrete and increasing the amount of dosage of concrete (from 250 to 400).
