This work focused on the pyrolysis gas evaluation. The criterions are: composition, production and calorific value of the pyrolysis gas from the processing of the selected shorts of organic materials and waste. The VSB - Technical University Ostrava pyrolysis equipment of the unique type has been used. Pyrolysis experiments were carried out in the temperature range from 500 degrees C to 650 degrees C of the step temperature increase of 50 degrees C for individual experiments. The residence time of materials in the retort was 45 minutes, the moisture of materials up to 20 wt. %, grain size of the material to 20 mm, the weight of material for one experimental was 60 kg/hr, pressure 101 kPa. To determine the degree of intensity of the linear dependence between the temperature ant the volume of flammable components in the gas the correlation analysis was performed.
