CaTiO3@ basalt fiber (BF) materials, consisting of CaTiO3 with various Ca/Ti ratios coated onto BF by a facile dipping method with binder, are introduced in this report. CaTiO3 powder was synthesized by hydrothermal method. The as-prepared CaTiO3@ BF materials were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, UV-vis spectroscopy, photocurrent spectroscopy, and CO2-temperature programed desorption. CaTiO3(1.5: 1)@ BF, made using a precursor ratio of CaCl2/Titanium tetraisopropoxide = 1.5, had superior CO2 adsorption and also the best CO2 reduction performance (CH4 approximate to 17.8 ae mol/g(cat) and CO approximate to 73.1 mu mol/g(cat)).
