In order to investigate and discriminate the aging explosives, the absorption spectra of pentaerythritol tetranitrate (PETN) are detected by broadband terahertz (THz) waves. The comparisons of THz spectra between non-aging and aging explosives are investigated by narrowband and broadband THz waves, respectively.
