In this work silver nanoparticles suspension of 4.5 nm average size and narrowsize distribution was obtained for the first time in a deep eutectic solvent (DES) by using laser ablation targeting a silver metal blank immersed in choline chloride-urea DES. Luminescence properties in both DES and aqueous media of as-synthesized silver nanoparticles are discussed. (C) 2016 Elsevier B. V.
