Infectious waste generations are increasing annually and have become an important issue as it poses potential health, risk and damage to the environment. The influence factors of infectious waste from healthcare facilities (HCFs) can be variety. This study aim to determined and evaluated correlation between infectious generation rate and it's influencing factors especially in the way of handling the infectious waste. A systematic review method of scientific literature on HCFs waste management was undertaken from 2006 until 2016, in order to identify infectious waste generation from HCFs. Analysis were divided base on geography the countries that involved in this study which divided into Asia countries, middle east countries and Europe country. The result of this study showed, globally Asia and Middle East country handling their infectious waste improperly and internal factors has become the most influencing factors in infectious generation waste with standard error of infectious waste generation in range between 0.047-0.94 kg/bed/day. Substantial improvement is required in the medical management of HCFs in order : (1) to eliminate the possibility of infectious waste contaminated to the environment and the healthness of HCFs workers by increase their awareness level in infectious waste effect; (2) to minimize the infectious waste generation by comply the regulations.
