Journey Heading towards Enantioselective Synthesis Assisted by Organocatalysis

This personal account summarizes the design of various organocatalysts derived from amino acids and Cinchona alkaloids and their applications in enantioselective carbon-carbon and carbon-nitrogen bond formation reactions.
