The shell effects in multinucleon transfer process are investigated in the systems Xe-136 + Pt-198 and Xe-136 + Pb-208 within the dinuclear system (DNS) model. The temperature dependence of shell corrections on potential energy surface is taken into account in the DNS model and remarkable improvement for description of experimental data is noticed. The reactions Xe-136 + W-186 and Nd-150 + W-186 are also studied. It is found that due to shell effects the projectile Nd-150 is more promising for producing transtarget nuclei rather than Xe-136 with neutron shell closure.
