The turbulent boundary layer was generated using the stochastic method, which needs power spectral densities and cross-spectral densities at each point for obtaining the inflow conditions of LES quickly. The advantage of this method is not only speed but also can use the turbulent statistics of natural wind, which have been observed by numerous researchers. The improved method proposed by Noda and Nakayama (2003) was also applied to reproduce the Reynolds stress, which is the one of the most typical characteristics of the turbulent boundary layer. LES was conducted using the generated turbulent boundary layer as the inflow incident. The generated turbulent boundary layer was in good agreement with the target. The turbulent statistics of LES results seem to be slightly shifted from the target values.
