Nanocarbon/polyethylene (PE) composites filled with up to 10 vol.% of single filler, graphite nanoplatelets (GNPs), carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and a mixture of fillers GNP/CNT were prepared. The segregated structure of nanocarbon network in these composites leads to the excellent electromagnetic shielding (EMI SET), and an absorption-dominated shielding mechanism in the investigated range 26-37.5GHz. The substitution of GNP particles by CNTs promotes the lowering of the percolation threshold and enhances EMI SET compared with composites (CMs) filled only GNPs. So, the composite with 6 vol.% (GNP/CNT) exhibited an EMI SET of 45.0dB at the shield thickness of 1mm.
