A theoretical model is developed to simulate electroosmotic transport via peristaltic motion in non-Darcy porous medium. The flow analysis is done under the magnetohydrodynamic environment. Peristaltic flow is induced by a traveling wave along the channel wall. Under the creeping flow constraints, low Reynolds number and long wavelength approximations are assumed to simplify the governing equations. Debye-Huckel linearization is also employed. A regular perturbation technique is applied to obtain an approximate solution by considering small Forchheimer number c(F) as a perturbation parameter. The results are presented graphically and effects of pertinent parameters on pumping characteristics, thermal characteristics and Nusselt number are examined. The model and associated results may encourage biomedical engineers to design and develop such biomicrofluidics devices which may help in transporting physiological fluids.
