In this research, the screen printing method is used to produce composite oxide ZnO:Fe2O3 with local mineral from Indonesia (yarosite) as Fe2O3 source. According to the result of the analysis, there are two phases which form nanocomposite structure, they are ZnxFe(3-x)O(4) spinel cubic and Fe3.7O4 wuestite with crystal size respectively 43.6 nm and 70 nm. Based on the structure which has been obtained, so the composite oxideZnO:Fe2O3 based of yarosite has a probability to be applied in many fields, such as photocatalyst, gas sensor, ferromagnetic material, and temperature sensor.
