Why (and How) Institutional Theory Can Be Critical: Addressing the Challenge to Institutional Theory's Critical Turn

Through a direct response to Willmott's challenge to institutional theory's critical potential, I show why and how it is possible for institutional theory to become more critical, while also respecting and maintaining important differences with critical theory.
