Partial phase diagrams of Pb-Mo-O system and the standard molar Gibbs energy of formation of PbMoO4 and Pb2MoO5

Partial phase diagrams of Pb-Mo-O system have been established at 773 K and 998 K based on phase equilibration studies. Standard molar Gibbs energy of formation of ternary oxides PbMoO4 and Pb2MoO5 were determined by measuring the equilibrium oxygen partial pressures over relevant phase fields using emf cells and are given by the following expressions: Delta(f)G(m)(o) < PbMoO4 > +/- 0.7(kJ mol(-1)) = -1030.1 + 0.3054(T/K) (T: 772 to 1017 K) D-f G(m)(o) < Pb2MoO5 > +/- 0.8(kJ mol(-1)) = -1248.1 + 0.3872(T/K) (T:741 to 1021 K) (C) 2017 Elsevier B.V.
