Passive Coherent Multistatic SAR: Experimental Results with a Point-like Target

This paper shows experimental methods and results on passive, coherent multistatic Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) using Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) as illuminators of opportunity. An experiment was conducted using two separate GNSS synthetic apertures and a fixed receiver, to obtain a multistatic Point Spread Function (PSF) from a point-like source. The results confirm that a coherent combination of SAR PSFs with such a system is possible and enables finer spatial resolutions.
