Cathodoluminescence (CL) spectra of rocksalt-structured (RS) Mg0.92Zn0.08O/MgO quantum wells (QWs) were measured in the VUV spectral region. Near-band-edge CL peak energies exhibited moderate blueshift by changing in the quantum well thickness. Present results demonstrate possible application of RS-MgxZn1-xO/MgO QWs for solid-state VUV light-emitter.
