Integrative and deep learning provides the students metacognitive tools that allow them determine the structure and organization of previous knowledge relationships, inducing a comprehensive training, translated into a better theoretical and practical knowledge. In this work, we focus on learning by viewing, repetition and relationship that are closely linked with the acquisition of significant learning in which students develop a theoretical content with own logical structuring. Learning occurs when the experience produce a relatively permanent change in knowledge or the behaviour of the student; in this sense to qualify as significant learning change in knowledge must be produced by an environment expressly designed. The teachers' team in this work belonged to the Complutense and Alfonso X, El Sabio Universities (Spain) and Nacional de San Marcos, Cayetano Heredia and Hermilio Valdizan Universities (Peru) in collaboration with a representative group of students have developed the audio-visual material, by collecting the basic information of the specific literature on Pharmacology used by undergraduate students to set up a network for rapid exchange of key information drawing in collaboration among universities using web page and e-mail mainly. The selected material corresponds to common issues in the participating faculties among pharmacological related subjects (Pharmacology, Pharmacotherapeutics, Pharmacy, etc). In addition, each audio-visual material produced with an average duration of one minute tries to highlight the most important aspects from each mechanism of action or pharmacological event, relating it with the diverse functions that occur in a physiological or clinical context with the aim of strengthening the interrelation of areas of knowledge in the health sciences that enable to obtain a lifelong and deep learning. The material previously produced and networked under characteristics which were attractive to the users, have been evaluated through surveys among students of universities and faculties participating. The aspects evaluated were the ease to access to the information, context, interaction with related subjects/areas and obviously the impact that they had over their own learning of Pharmacology. Finally we must highlight that in the context of contemporary, visual and audio-visual technologies have a ubiquitous role in everyday life being difficult to wean or do not use them. We consider that this old tool is a new and useful boost to get a significant learning of Pharmacology, which every day is more dense and complex in their same traditional receptorial mechanisms.
