We studied the detection and localization method of multiple stationary human targets using multiple IR-UWB radar sensors. The proposed method identifies the number of human targets, estimates the 1D location of each target based on respiration signals and generates 2D images of each target. Compared with conventional change detection method, the proposed method showed improved performance in experiments. Especially, the proposed method was robust to shadowing effect and did not cause ghost artifact.
