The machining parameters is optimized during CNC end milling process of brass C26130 alloy using Taguchi technique. The experimental results shows that the combination of 750 rpm spindle speed, 20 mm/rev feed rate and 1 mm depth of cut was identified as the optimum level for minimum surface roughness (SR) and the combination of 750 rpm spindle speed, 60 mm/rev feed rate and 0.75 mm depth of cut was identified as the optimum level for minimum tool wear (TW). ANOVA results revealed that the spindle speed and feed rate was identified as the highest influencing parameters on SR and TW. (C) 2019 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
