Summary: Majority of studies on the relationship between meat-eaters and non-meat eaters' psychological health suggest that non-meat eaters are more likely to experience depression, anxiety, and self-harm behaviors, with higher risk observed in those who avoid meat consumption, particularly in the higher quality studies.

Further research, including randomized controlled trials, is needed to better understand how diet and nutrition impact behavioral health disorders and to develop effective interventions for affected individuals.
