An ultra-sensitive rifampicin electrochemical sensor based on titanium nanoparticles (TiO2) anchored reduced graphene oxide modified glassy carbon electrode

Summary: The TiO2 nanoparticles anchored graphene oxide sheets were successfully prepared and showed excellent detection performance towards the antituberculosis drug Rifampicin. The TiO2/rGO/GCE electrochemical sensing platform exhibited a wide linear range and a low detection limit, indicating high sensitivity and potential for clinical and pharmaceutical applications.

Summary: Increased oxidative burden is linked to the pathogenesis of inflammatory diseases, with macrophages playing a role in ROS generation. A sensor for H2O2 detection released by cells in culture supernatants was evaluated for sensitivity and selectivity, and its results were consistent with those obtained using flow cytometry. It has the potential to be used for real-time monitoring of oxidative stress without impacting cell viability.
