Scientific considerations and challenges for addressing cumulative effects in forest landscapes in Canada

L. A. Venier et al.

Summary: Traditionally, forest management has focused on forestry practices, but now there is a need to integrate anthropogenic and natural disturbances and consider their cumulative effects on the environment, society, and economy. To effectively address these challenges, data integration, large-scale data collection efforts, and the development of comprehensive ecosystem models are essential.
