Simultaneous Decoherence and Mode Filtering in Quantum Channels: Theory and Experiment

Summary: Researchers have developed an analytical model of a channel with two lumped elements, one representing decoherence and the other representing mode filtering, to study entanglement distribution. They found that different biphoton states generated by the two elements have the same amount of entanglement. Experimental verification and expansion to a general fiber polarization channel demonstrate the accuracy and effectiveness of the two-element analytical model in describing channel decoherence.

Geometry of Faithful Entanglement
