In a study of 208 children seeking medical care, the seropositivity rate of anti-SARS-CoV-2 IgG antibodies was 8.7%, suggesting a similar infection rate to that of adults but greater than the incidence of RT-PCR-confirmed pediatric cases by over 100-fold. The MEDsan IgG rapid diagnostic test demonstrated accurate performance compared to the gold-standard combined ELISA + immunofluorescence.
