Skeletal Cu7S4 Nanocages Wrapped by Few-Layered Black Phosphorus Nanosheets as an Efficient H2 Production Photocatalyst

Summary: The research team synthesized crystallinity-controlled nanotwinned polyhedral-skeletal-type copper sulfide cages and successfully wrapped them with black phosphorus nanosheets for photocatalytic hydrogen production experiments. Under optimal conditions, the BP/Cu7S4 hybrid material exhibited significantly improved hydrogen production rate, 14 times higher than that achieved using pristine Cu7S4 cages.

Ultra-Steep Slope Impact Ionization Transistors Based on Graphene/InAs Heterostructures

This research not only pushes the performance limit of I-MOS, but also outlines a general pathway to van der Waals heterostructures for unconventional device functions.
