Exponential Moments and Piecewise Thinning for the Bessel Point Process

Summary: The study investigates the exponential moment asymptotics of the Bessel point process, leading to improvements in the expectation and variance of the associated counting function and the establishment of several central limit theorems. It is shown that exponential moment asymptotics can be interpreted as large gap asymptotics, especially when applying piecewise constant thinning on consecutive intervals. The results are believed to provide important estimates for future studies on the global rigidity of the Bessel point process.

Large gap asymptotics for the generating function of the sine point process
