Agomelatine protects heart and aorta against lipopolysaccharide-induced cardiovascular toxicity via inhibition of NF-k beta phosphorylation

H. Asci et al.

Summary: The aim of this study was to investigate the possible ameliorating effects of agomelatine on lipopolysaccharide-induced endothelial and cardiac damage. The results showed that agomelatine reversed the processes of inflammation, oxidative stress, and apoptosis through its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-apoptotic activities.
