Three-body calculations were performed for the K (K) over barN system with quantum numbers I = 1/2, J(pi) = (1/2)(+). Different types of (K) over barN-pi Sigma potentials were used based on a phenomenological and chiral SU(3) approach. The study showed the mass of the Lambda(1405) resonance to be approximately 1417 MeV/c(2) through chi(2) fitting.
Three-body calculations of the K (K) over barN system with quantum numbers I = 1/2, J(pi) = (1/2)(+) were performed. Using separable potentials for two-body interactions, we calculated the pi Sigma mass spectra for the ((K) over barN)(I=0) + K+ -> (pi Sigma)K-0(+) reaction on the basis of the three-body Alt-Grassberger-Sandhas equations in the momentum representation. In this regard, different types of (K) over barN-pi Sigma potentials based on a phenomenological and chiral SU(3) approach were used. The possibility to observe the trace of the Lambda(1405) resonance in the (pi Sigma)(0) mass spectrum was studied. Using the chi(2) fitting, it was shown that the mass of the Lambda(1405) resonance is about 1417 MeV/c(2).
