ZnO/Ag nanoparticles incorporated multifunctional parallel side by side nanofibers for air filtration with enhanced removing organic contaminants and antibacterial properties

Summary: In this study, a side by side nanofibers (SBS NFs) with photocatalytic and antibacterial properties were successfully developed, showing enhanced dye degradation and antibacterial effects compared to single nanofibers (SNFs). The SBS NFs filter also exhibited a higher filtration efficiency than the SNFs filter.
