Concrete is a major producer of carbon dioxide emissions, with geo-polymer concrete being a low-carbon, zero-waste, low-cost alternative to reduce emissions and protect natural resources.
Concrete is the mixture of sand, gravel, cement and water which is used in large scale to build structures in our earth and also the second-biggest producer of carbon dioxide emissions. This year alone, over 3.2 billion a lot of carbon dioxide are going to be discharged into our planet's atmosphere. For over 2,000 years, we have been manufacturing cement by identical primitive technique of the heating and grinding of sedimentary rock. Humanity is currently on Fourth historic period, wherever technological advances are providing Architects, Engineers, and Material Scientists with the tools to supply the succeeding generation of superior, low-impact materials. Materials like geo-polymer concrete is a lowcarbon, zero-waste, low cost model to safeguard our natural resources, cut back the carbon dioxide emissions and reduce global warming. In this paper, we've got done a close study on this geo polymer technology. (c) 2021 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
