By investigating nuclear and quark matters at finite real chemical potential and low temperature using the canonical sectors constructed via the imaginary chemical potential region, we are able to discuss the confinement/deconfinement nature and color superconductivity at finite mu(R) based on large N-c estimation. The sharp changes of canonical sectors at mu(R) similar to M-B/N-c in the large N-c regime are matched with the quarkyonic picture, providing a suitable picture for dense QCD matter.
We investigate the nuclear and quark matters at finite real chemical potential (mu(R)) and low temperature from the viewpoint of the canonical sectors constructed via the imaginary chemical potential region. Based on the large N-c estimation, where N-c is the number of colors, we can discuss the confinementdeconfinement nature at finite mu(R) from the canonical sectors. We find the expectation that the sharp changes of canonical sectors at mu(R) similar to M-B/N-c, where M-B is the lowest baryon mass, happens in the large N-c regime, and it is matched with the quarkyonic picture. In addition, we discuss the color superconductivity and the chiral properties from the structure of canonical sectors. Even in the present anatomy from the canonical sectors, we obtain a suitable picture for the dense QCD matter.
