Recent progress in copper sulfide based nanomaterials for high energy supercapacitor applications

Dipanwita Majumdar

Summary: Copper sulfides have diverse applications in electronics, sensors, catalysis, photovoltaics, and energy storage. Various nanostructures of copper sulfides have been synthesized to design superior electrode materials for high-energy supercapacitors, and they have been blended with other electro-active materials to form exquisite nanocomposites. These materials show improvements in capacitance, energy, power efficiencies, mechanical flexibility, and environmental stability, making them suitable for various energy-seeking fields.
