The quasi single-crystal-to-single-crystal transformation of a hydrogen-bonded organic framework (HOF) was accurately revealed in this study, with the proposed mechanism indicating the involvement of Br/π interaction. This interaction allowed for the successful resolution of the intermediate phase of the crystal structure.
Quasi single-crystal-to-single-crystal transformation of a hydrogen-bonded organic framework (HOF) was accurately revealed and the mechanism was proposed. Interestingly, Br/pi interaction allows a snapshot of the intermediate phase of the crystal structure to be solved.
