Although reproducibility is crucial in the scientific method, it is challenging to replicate many results. Researchers have found that only 50% of published simulation results in systems biology can be repeated. By utilizing various resources, investigators can make their research more accessible, executable, and comprehensible to others. Improved reproducibility will accelerate the development of more sophisticated models, benefiting precision medicine and synthetic biology.
