Electrochemical Synthesis of Large Area Two-Dimensional Metal-Organic Framework Films on Copper Anodes

Youxing Liu et al.

Summary: A novel electrochemical synthesis method was proposed for the preparation of large-area Cu-3(HHTP)(2) MOF film, which exhibited high electrical conductivity and crystalline quality. The method was also applied to synthesize other MOF films on Cu foil, demonstrating its universality and potential for industrial-scale production of 2D MOF films.

Recent progress in covalent organic frameworks as light-emitting materials

S. Xu et al.

Summary: COFs, as an emerging class of crystalline materials, have attracted attention due to their lightweight and highly ordered porous structure. Conjugated COFs, compared to one-dimensional conjugated polymers, can extend conjugation in two- or even three-dimensional directions, making them promising candidates for light-emitting materials.

Efficient electrochemical synthesis of a manganese-based metal-organic framework for H2 and CO2 uptake

Aisha Asghar et al.

Summary: In this study, Mn-DABDC MOF was successfully synthesized using both electrochemical and conventional solvothermal methods, with the optimized electrochemical conditions leading to high yield and reduced synthesis cost. The electrochemically synthesized MOF exhibited high carbon dioxide and hydrogen uptake capacities. This study represents the first successful electrochemical synthesis of an amine-based manganese MOF with potential for cost-effective large-scale production.
