A new molybdenum 2-aminopyridine complex is synthesized through a hydrothermal reaction, and its crystal structure is determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The molybdenum atom is coordinated by six oxygen atoms, and the crystal packing is stabilized by O-H···O and O-H···N hydrogen bonding interactions.
A new molybdenum 2-aminopyridine complex (C5H7N2)(2)(Mo7O24)(H2O)(4) is prepared by a hydrothermal reaction and the crystal structure has been determined by means of single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The Mo atom is coordinated by six O atoms. The crystal packing is stabilized by O-H center dot center dot center dot O and O-H center dot center dot center dot N hydrogen bonding interaction.
