Temperature-Controlled Adhesion to Carbohydrate Functionalized Microgel Films: An E. coli and Lectin Binding Study

Tanja J. Paul et al.

Summary: The study demonstrates that ConA binding to the microgel network is stronger above the LCST at short incubation times, but becomes increased below the LCST with longer incubation times. In contrast, E. coli binding is always enhanced above the LCST due to the higher mannose density of the microgel layer.
