A sensitive dopamine electrochemical sensor based on hollow zeolitic imidazolate framework

Yuhua Dong et al.

Summary: In this study, a hollow zeolitic imidazolate framework compound was prepared using a solvothermal method, which was then used to fabricate a dopamine electrochemical sensor with excellent performance. The electrochemical experiments demonstrated that the sensor had wide linear range, high sensitivity, low detection limit, reproducibility, and stability for dopamine determination in real samples. The results indicated that the hollow zeolitic imidazolate framework compound was effective in catalyzing the oxidation of dopamine.
