Re-assigning the histologic identities of COV434 and TOV-112D ovarian cancer cell lines

Anthony N. Karnezis et al.

Summary: The study re-assigned histologic identities of two ovarian cancer cell lines, COV434 as SCCOHT and TOV-112D as a dedifferentiated carcinoma, based on their gene expression profiles and experimental results. Transplantation of COV434 into mice increased serum calcium levels, while re-expression of SMARCA4 inhibited the growth of both cell lines significantly.
