The preemptive testing strategy, along with accessible isolation and symptom screening, resulted in a low incidence proportion of coronavirus disease 2019 (0.9%) among people experiencing homelessness in congregant living settings in San Diego, California from April 2020 to August 2020. Proactively addressing challenges specific to vulnerable populations may have a significant impact.
