The study shows that the relationship between the specific shear viscosity and the dimensionless jet quenching parameter remains largely unchanged at the next-to-leading order in perturbative QCD, even though both transport coefficients undergo significant modifications at this level. This finding confirms the robustness of the relationship between the two parameters.
The relation between the specific shear viscosity eta/s and the dimensionless jet quenching parameter (q) over cap /T-3 in perturbative QCD is explored at next-to-leading order in the coupling constant. It is shown that the relation changes little, although both transport coefficients independently are subject to large modifications at the next-to-leading order level. This finding confirms that the relationship is robust.
