Facile construction of noncovalent graft copolymers with triple stimuli-responsiveness for triggered drug delivery

Lei Xu et al.

Summary: A triple stimuli-responsive nanoparticle was developed from a noncovalently grafted amphiphilic copolymer, showing stability at neutral pH but decomposing under acidic and oxidizing conditions. The nanoparticles could efficiently deliver hydrophobic anticancer drugs, exhibiting low toxicity towards normal cells and significantly higher selectivity towards cancer cells. This biocompatible copolymer holds promise for intracellular delivery of hydrophobic anticancer drugs with controlled release capabilities.
