Interacting Brownian particles exhibiting enhanced rectification in an asymmetric channel

Summary: This study investigates the rectification of interacting Brownian particles in a two-dimensional asymmetric channel under an external periodic driving force, finding that by adjusting the driving frequency, amplitude, and channel shape, the average velocity and direction of particles can be controlled. Short-range interaction forces and channel shape also play a role in enhancing rectification.
