C,N-Chelate deprotonated diaminocarbene platinum(II) complexes were synthesized by coupling coordinate isocyanides and azinyl-substituted ureas, which act as catalysts for the hydrosilylation cross-linking of silicone rubbers. Among these complexes, one containing (aminoisoquinoline) exhibited temperature-responsive luminescence, showing irreversible changes in emission from green radiation at 80-100 degrees C to blue radiation at 120 degrees C or higher.
C,N-Chelate deprotonated diaminocarbene platinum(II) complexes were synthesized by coupling coordinated isocyanides and azinyl-substituted ureas. The complexes act as catalysts of alpha,omega-divinylpolydimethylsiloxane and poly(dimethylsiloxane-co-methylhydrosiloxane) hydrosilylation cross-linking. Silicone rubbers obtained with (aminoisoquinoline)-containing complex 3d exhibit temperature-responsive luminescence. Their emission changes irreversibly when heated from 80-100 degrees C (green radiation) to 120 degrees C or more (blue radiation).
