The study reported for the first time single Au-38 nanocluster reaction events of highly efficient electrochemiluminescence (ECL) with tri-n-propylamine radicals as a reductive co-reactant at the surface of an ultramicroelectrode (UME). Statistical analyses of individual reactions confirm stochastic single ones influenced by the applied potential.
